FITNESS TIPS

Tip #1 - Listen to your Body

If you start to feel pain or discomfort during an exercise stop right away, not listening to your body can lead to serious injury.*

Tip #2 - HIIT

Clients who are in good health and exercise on a consistent basis should consider High-Intensity Interval Training, to burn fat faster while maintaining muscle mass. High intensity workouts keep burning fat even after you are done exercising.*

Tip #3 - Proper Form

No matter the type of exercise you are performing, make sure to always use proper form, in order to minimize injuries and get maximum results.*

Tip #4 - Try the Deadlift

A total body workout that helps build your core muscle strength; muscles that work as one to stabilize your body's movements and help produce maximum power.*

Tip #5 - Cardio is Key

Not only is cardiovascular training a great warm up and cool down exercise, but most importantly it strengthens your heart and improves your physical and mental health.*

Tip #6 - Squat Technique

A Squat is a functional movement exercise that engages all the muscles in the human body. Learning how to properly perform a squat is essential. Its main aim is to strengthen your lower body (Gluteus Maximus, Hamstrings and Quadriceps), which in turn also helps build upper body strength.*

Tip #7 - Bench Press Form

Never flatten your back on the bench when pressing. Lift your hips then hug the bench with your upper back (shoulder blades), maintain a strong core, lower your hips and stay in that position. Using this proper form when bench pressing allows for greater press power, keeps your shoulders stable throughout the workout and also reduces the risk of injuring your shoulder.*
